At The Nordic Camp and Conference Center/Danhostel Hillerød, we wish to achieve a reputation as a center with a focus on health and environment.

Our environmental policy is to ensure that all of our activities are completed with as little pollution as possible.

We will commit as a minimum to comply with the present legislation on the environment.

We strive to limit the consumption of resources by increasing the reutilization of materials and minimize waste.

We emphasise that all of our members of staff are included and take part in the environmentally conscious focus.

We have:

Energy saving light bulbs where appropriate

Low-pressure Flush toilet

Heating control

Environmentally friendly district heating

Room sensors where appropriate

Waste separation system in order to be able to reutilize as much as possible.

Focus on minimizing the use of potent cleaning detergent, and use detergent with environmental certification.
